Kastanj is named for the chestnut tree outside the window. Vera and Tomas Lindqvist opened the room in 2019. Vera runs the kitchen. Tomas runs the wine list, with opinions.

The five dishes on the menu change with the seasons: what follows is the list they are writing for autumn. Nothing on it holds longer than a season.

The Tuesday staff meal did not stay quiet for long. The neighbors found out, and now Tuesday books out like any other night at Kastanj.
